Digest mechanics

This is a clear lesson in chaos theory. All the thought out, well written pieces I have posted in the Digest before have been ignored, usually because by the time I had finished writing and correcting it, the thread was dead, boring, or both.

However when I post a spur of the moment piece, based on some old fencing rules I had made for RQ three years ago, and without connection to other threads, I am praised.

So the moral is: post when you feel like it, and what you want. It will be forgotten tomorrow anyway :-)

And I disagree with you, Michael. The Digest has two functions for me:

Scenario ideas is something that is not hard to find (buying material for half a dozen RPGs, reading a book a week and going to the cinema twice as often do that to you). It is the gloranthan touch. And as science guy who does not like Campbell, discussions on dwarven firearms priming methods fire my imagination more than a new spirit cult. Your Glorantha may vary, and that is why I am exiled in the West...

Thanks to all the people who contribute to the Digest.

Jose Ramos
