I disagree about the consensus. Maran Gor (Runes: Malign Earth, Death and Disorder) cultists are able to have children.

Why should it seem pointless? The Pantheon is to explain the Cosmos not a fanatical obsession to one particular element. Look at the Greeks whose principal god was a storm god (Zeus) yet that did not prevent them from worshipping gods like Apollo, Hades, Poseiden, Aphrodite, Ares etc.

Adding a Sun God to the Orlanth pantheon and a Storm God to the Solar Pantheon is merely an extension of this.

The reason I didn't include the Malkioni is that Malkion and his followers didn't really arrive until the start of the lesser darkness IMO (at which point I finished). The synopsis was to show how IMO the Safelstrans (and the Tanisorians!) view the deeds of the 'gods' today. Most Safelstrans would consider people like Eneral to have been orthodox malkioni piously following the strictures of the Invisible God - witness the reason why Vustr has quit civilization.
