I agree completely, but would add that they have an ascetic trait too. As nobles, they may not use the second and third fire of Calyz (smelting and cooking) since that's too much work. But they are also supposed to use teh first fire (sex) sparingly, ideally just enough to ensure procreation.

Yep, the Noon caste are the active ones, but they are rather the overseers, with the Evening people being the actual owners of the wealth. I realize that I have represented the Noon caste as rulers before, but this fits a lot better.

The Noon people may use the first and second fire, but are not supposed to cook for themselves.

I think that you also don't get access to all the benefits (magic and whatever) if you are from the wrong caste.

I think that the cult of Calyz is very wide spread and popular, since it is not caste specific. But that doesn't have to mean it has any ruling power.
