Herdmen

Regarding herdmen and whether they use tools, well if they don't then they should start de-evolving and becoming more ape like; but apes and chimps (our closest relatives) use tools in a limited manner i.e.using sticks to dig insects out of logs, using rocks to break open hard shelled fruits and nuts. Also as was pointed out without tools they are helpless against any other predator, because two legs is no way faster than four! IMHO herdmen should either be de-evolving and becoming more like our earlier ancestors say more like homo erectus or continuing the evolution into another species. As far as I can tell from what I have read, they can't remain as they are as they don't seem to be able to tend for themselves without protection from herders.

I guess in a way they were made domesticated, but most domesticated animals that I can think of still have some defences, what defences do herdmen have?

humbly yours

Chiara
