FYI it is a (not very) secret that the Feathered Horse Queen is an avatar of Kero Fin and is most definitely an earth priestess/godling. The grazers, through the use of the vendref and other means, are trying to create the FHQ into a full blown goddess to strengthen their tenuous position. (I think it's all in that Grazer handout that was done for Convulsion 3D.
Every season the Vendref are forced to worship the FHQ, pouring MPs into her which she uses to keep the Grazelands fertile and, hopefully, to store up enough MP's to transcend into godhood. Richard Faragher is an absolute expert on this area, so he can tell you more about it than me (Dave Dunham is another). For those who are interested I have her stats somewhere and it's truly gruesome.
