Ian Thomson wonders:

The average Illuminant does not see the stereotypical Chaos Horror as "OK" at all. Depending on their biases, they might see them as being in need of being Healed of Their Pain, separated from civilised society, used as an expedient way to freak out revolting tribesmen -- or killed. On the other hand, they do not regard them with the sort of singular dread that non-Illuminants typically have.

Other forms of (alleged) Chaos are a trickier matter. Orlanthi cosmology says that everything outside Mundane and Divine Glorantha is, by definition Chaos. Therefore they implicitly regard any sort of "mysticism" as being, to a greater or lesser degree, duped by, or in hoc to chaos. The extreme case of this is of course Nysalor, seen by the Orlanthi as the Chaos Pantheon god of flim-flam merchants, and by the Pelorians as a transcendant entity of the mystic world, manifest on Glorantha as a benevolent and wise teacher. Calling Nysalor "chaotic" is a self-evident truth to the Orlanthi, and prima facia nonsense to Lunars and Dara Happans.

Slainte,
Alex.
