Spoken like a true American. ;-) For my money, 'Individualism' (in this context) is a sufficiently whack idea as to be much more fun as a heresy, with the religious norm being closer to what Loren would characterise as Socialism, though probably not even as literalistic as that, since the balancing principle can exist elsewhere _in the world_, not necessarily in Carmania (or in the LE).

But I don't know much about Carmania, esp. not through play, so I'd not take my word for it...
