A wild broo, sure. But this made me think of what the early wolf-tamers must have gone through. Surely the Lunar philosophers take just-hatched broo larvae and give them a proper upbringing, i.e. turning them from wolves to dogs. (Or in Glorantha, back to the primal broo before they became corrupted.)

They are sort of a cross between Plains Indians and Scythians. They are lavishly illustrated in the computer game King of Dragon Pass (which is indeed available in Australia).
