False path and Vithelan mythology

I can't remember what it is or if i've even ever read about it. Is it a path that leads only to illusions? In that case they who walk that path are unable to find truth and refute things that they shouldn't refute (and thus create more illusions...) (????)

If Avanapdur did not find the transcendant realm, what did he find?

I fear I know very little about Vithelan mythology, including who Avanapdur is. Has there been published material on those myths, apart from Glorantha Intro?
