There's several phases in the Vadeli quest for world conquest, in which they ally with increasingly worse foes. First it was the Mostali and the Malkioni of what is now Jrustela were packed off to Slon while the Genertelan Malkioni were temporarily enslaved by Nida. At the end, the Spike had exploded and the Vadeli were allying with chaos. They were only defeated when Zzabur cast the spell to sink the lands of the Vadeli.

But I'm pointing out that this is unlikely for chaos didn't exist within the world then when Oabil was founded and destroyed. Chaos only came into the world much later with the Unholy Trio (not the Vadeli).
