Um, I suppose, but Crashing Noise doesn't play any further part in Orlanth and Aroka. Do "lose ends" in heroquests necessarily reappear in the quester's later life? Young Mr. Noise is a by-product of the main quest; it seems to me that the O and A quest reinforces Crashing Noise (reenacting his birth) as a sort of collateral worship, but does every O and A heroquester have his own personal CN waiting for him in the hero world? A failure (or, more likely, a marginal success) on the quest might kill Aroka but leave a splinter of CN ready to drag the quester into other quests against his will. Or, potentially worse, deposit a magical child in the Inner World with a grudge for his abandonment -- hope the quester doesn't have any ritual-savvy enemies looking for a weapon....
