No. Her magic *fails*. Completely. This is *not* normal, even in winter. (Or if it is, there's some important info missing from the early background books.) One of the Ernalda ceremonies is carried out, and that's when they discover that she "only sleeps", but even that is quite bad enough.

Kallyr specifically says it's an LBQ. And she ought to know. "Dangerous" I doubt if she'd argue with.
