Seems to me that in Glorantha a 'demon' can be any being you disapprove o=

not necessarily from an otherworld. In the RQ3 'Strangers in Prax' there=

a speech the wizard Arlaten gives if you offer him a Troll recruit to his=
guards, in which he refers to it as a 'Krjalk night demon'.
It's like the question somebody once asked, are there angels in Glorantha= ? =
Well, yes, an angel is someone sent by a god, possibly including the play=
er
characters.
Lots of people in Sartar summon otherworld beings with intent to do harm.= =
These don't have to be chaotic, some of the most 'demon-like' in conventional terms might be spirits of darkness summoned by followers of Zorak Zoran.
