I think this is an excellent idea. Put the cults in a small coverless
booklet, three-hole punched. The idea of a one page "What the Priest
told me" or similar introduction to the cult would also be a great
addition. This also neatly avoids the problem of keeping the players from
peeking at the adventures while looking up information about their cult.

This suggestion has now come up twice in the last couple of dailies and
I hope Ken Rolston likes the idea too!

Just a few little messages :-)
To Neil Robinson who was asking about criticals and impales
with a spear. I had the same problem with my rapier and arrows etc..
My DM (Steve) is currently toying with the idea (or maybe he's decided,
I dunno, haven't hit anything lately), of giving the player the choice of an impale or crit. when a critical is rolled.

Here's an optional rule that others might like to use. In our games,
if anyone fumbles they get to make the tea, coffee etc... Just make sure that
your DM rolls for all the NPC's too :) YOU HEAR THAT STEVE?? Make sure he
doesn't do it behind the shield either ;)

Erm.. quick question from me. Are people interested in the diary
thing I put in a while back? Maybe I should change the format a bit so it's
more like a demo of how an aldryami thinks? Just wopndering 'cos my finals
start tomorrow and I don't have that much time to play with at the moment.

	TO STEVE: Droppings.

cheers
Mark. "What do you mean 'I'm safe 'cos your geas says eat no cooked vegetables'!!!??? I'm am NOT a vegetable! I just float better than most :)"

Those of us unfortunate enough to miss Convulsions '92 (a long
trip on a student budget) got to read about it in Tales. I got
the highlights on the Boldhome session, but it merely whetted my
appetite to learn more about it.

Does anyone know if the handouts are somehow available? I am
willing to pay shipping and any other costs for a legitimate
    version.

The handout, "A Rough Guide to Boldhome," is a 32-page booklet chock
full of information on Sartar, the city of Boldhome, and important
personalities there. Distribution of the booklet is limited (for
promotional reasons) to players in a session of Home of the Bold.
HotB is a day-long, live-action roleplaying game set in Boldhome
during the waning days of the Lunar occupation. There will be a
session at the RQ-Con in Baltimore next January. Yours truly will be
officiating. Come help the righteous Lunar Empire put down the
Orlanthi barbarians for the glory of the Red Emperor!

Hi all,

I don't know if this will be of much interest to people out there in Net land
but I've just got the latest copy of White Dwarf and see that Citadel have
released a new figure that would be lovely as a Sky Bull. It is called a Great
Taurus and has a seperate chaos dwarf rider, the figure costs #14.99 which is a
bit pricey but it is very big and nicely posed in a rearing possition, compared
to Ral Partha RQ figures it should look huge. The only thing I have noticed is
that the figure has long fangs in its mouth which would have to be removed and
the wings are leathery. I would suggest buying the figure as seperate parts and
purchasing the feathered wings from the Citadel Tyrion on winged horse figure
instead, the figure sizes are much the same so little remodeling should be
required.

On a final note I will be changing jobs after tomorrow (Friday) so this will
probably be the last mail I send until I can arrange to buy a modem for my
machine at home. I'll be reading the list tomorrow (Thursdays posting) and then
thats it. It's sure been nice talking to you all and I'll miss the group, you
have all helped to increase my understanding and pleasure of RQ and Glorantha
and I hope to be back on-line as soon as is inhumanly possible. In the mean
time I'll put my address on the end of this message if you feel the need to
contact me.

By for now and keep up the good work.

Ken, doesn't your focus on entry-level products, not fit with your
statement that people that don't have RQ2 stuff are not a big market.
If you are right that most of your market is the old RQ2 crowd, then
I think it is a mistake to focus on entry-level products. The vast
majority of old RQ2 players I know are not interested in entry-level
products. Most are not interested in detailed scenarios. They would
rather see general Gloranthan info that they can more readily use in
existing campaigns, be them low or high level.

You mentioned to me at DunDraCon that Sun County, and RoC had not sold
any better then Daughter's and Eldarad. Perhaps this is one of the
reasons.
