Message-ID: <9310050153.AA20644@Sun.COM> Date: 5 Oct 93 01:46:08 GMT X-RQ-ID: 1907 In regard to last week's discussion of the nature of chaos, wherein Chris Cooke asked about whether Chaos' invasion was really the end, or just the end of life as we know it: I looked at CoT over the weekend, but the most relevant reference is in a book that is ACTUALLY IN PRINT!!! It's Gloranthan Bestiary, p. 2, second paragraph. It makes the point that infiltrating chaos displaces the pre-existing ecology without supplying a stable substitute. (If it was stable it wouldn't be chaos). Newton
