You have to log into www.egroups.com and change it on the 'my groups' screen. There's a dropbox that has your preferences in it. Change it to 'daily digest.'

It doesn't seem to be slowing my group down. They are working it out on their own. Its sort of like tailoring. I'm finding it a fascinating thing to watch.
