The character is drawing on the powers of two different worlds, thus *in his being* he is combining magic/worship (even if he is carefully keeping his rituals and such separate). A Shaman draws on the Power of the Spirit World, a Theist from the Gods world, etc.

It will cost more to gain
feats/spells/spirits/traditions/grimoires/affinities than if he followed only one style of magic (the exact multiplier depends on his primary and secondary magic).
