For the purposes of magic, there's a resistance table of various elements and metals in the Advanced Magic section.
For anything else, I'd say that whacking on white granite walls with siege equpiment is a bit of a different scale. Unless I was *standing* on that bit of wall, I'd say 'the walls crack under the relentless bombardment' or 'the white walls stand proudly, ignoring the assault though the warriors on the walks and parapets are slaughtered by the rain of death...'
But then, I suppose, I wave my arms a lot.
