Well, there are many tribes who do run down horses (using 'Run Long Distance' rather than Run Fast), so they're not WILDLY wrong. It's just a bit easy when a beginner, at a level which any competant hunter should match (one mastery), can do so regularly. I'd say about 5-10 points too low, I'd prefer 10, and force the beginner hunter to use some cunning, augmenting with whatever he has available, but still failing a majority of contests. So long as he wins a couple, he'll not starve. The problem is deciding what's right and what's wrong. Large and Small look fine, as do many of the 'monsters', it's usually things like Alert, Run Fast, Sense Predator, Ambush, and the like - abilities which natural animals use against one another.
