I dont understand this whole debate about masteries.The rules are clear what
a mastery is-its supposed to be a threshold and one of the best features of
the game!Simple and very effective!
Then there is this thing going on,that contests are too long,because of the
whole mastery thing.The way i see it,the whole canceling of ranks and
masteries was just intended,to make gameplay easier(another flaw of the first
edition-because it makes gameplay lengthy..*sigh*-the opposite of what was
intended) and more streamlined,you dont have to do it!
