Well, for normal sorts of things, yes. If you've put that much work into your alliance, of course they'll normally show up to support you at the moot, help on a cattle raid, or watch your back when you are slipping into Boldhome to contact hidden rebels.

On the other hand, when you are planning a heroquest to hell and back, are getting ready to face the Bat, or are planning to slip into Glamour to attack the imperial court, you might be facing some added resistance....
