Followers, Hurts and Levels of defeat.

I just thought f this while replying to Wulf.

If a hero is defeated then their followers suffer 1 level of defeat worse - so a Hero reduced to minor defeat (hurt, -1 to rolls) has followers who have suffered a major defeat (injured, -50% to rolls)

A hero fighting with their followers has a single pool of AP's, and the followers drop out as the AP pool becomes to low to sustain them (so if Harvald has "Close Combat 5W" and his follower Fingolf has "Warrior 17" then they start with 42 AP. If the total drops below 25, Fingolf is assumed to have dropped out for the purposes of multiple opponents etc.

A participant in a contest can trade in a 7AP penalty for a hurt (-1 to rolls) , and a 13 AP penalty automatically causes a hurt.

>From whom is the Hurt taken? - Normally, one would say Harvald, since
he is the one whose ability is actually being used (once his AP's have been added in it is immaterial what skill Fingolf actually has) - but say Harvald is hit repeatedly with a 12 AP loss, converted to hurt and 5 AP's, but that he eventually defeats his opponent - he could finish the contest on 2AP and 8 Hurts - although Fingolf dropped out half way through he appears to be unharmed?

Or should followers (at least those who actively participate) automatically end up at least as hurt as their leader? - so if Harvald is at -8 then so is Fingolf? - Or does the person inflicting the wound get to choose who suffers it (and if the follower is the magical specialist, or the healer then it might very well make sense to pass a few wounds their way?)
