The old Chaos (upturn-horned circle) is being used for something else (I think it's Cacodemon). Variants of the Horned Circle are used for the Devil in different cultures.

>Why aren't the Mastery (W), Power (R), and Infinity (oo) Runes included?

Mastery is still mastery (used in the HW for - you guessed it - Mastery) Power is still there (but one of the rune fonts doesn't have it) Infinity was forgotten when the fonts were created :-(

>Am I mistaken or is the old Lunar Rune now called "Balance"?

Correct. The "Lunar" rune is now dependent on *which* lunar goddess you follow, plus there are runes for each of the seven phases of the moon, and "Balance" (The old Lunar halved circle) is the rune for the Full Moon.

loved for a real long time.

Greg has always wanted to have the full Rune symbology, and the various "old runes" were often one of a whole family of runes - look at the runes in the various "unfinished manuscripts" - Glorious reascent, et al.

With HW, he had the opportunity to "re-do" the runes as he had always envisioned them. Now each god can be uniquely identified by one rune, and the "rune families" have grown to cover them. Most of the time the old rune kept its meaning, but in a few cases they were changed and the "old rune" given to a particular being.
