Oddly enough, my biggest problems with teaching the game have been with just this sort of group. The die hard RuneQuesters. It seems to be a very great shifting of gears.

However, the new people who've never seen Glorantha take to the HeroWars system and its flexiblity with surprising ease. Its breathtaking and very inspiring to watch them go at it.

For what it is worth to you, I have been demoing HeroWars on over thirty occasions at conventions and game stores all over North America (but mostly in Ontario, of course).

I fear I must disagree with you when I say that HeroQuest will be very beginner friendly.

But you're welcome to come to Gloranthacon in three weeks and debate with us on that personally if you like. =)

Not knocking but just saying what my expereinces have been.
