^15 is enough of a major edge that I could see it falling outside of the normal "Edge turns into bonus" rules. It's really up to you & your narrator at that point. For this particular conversion, you could either make it into a normal bonus (and thus be able to use it in Simple contests) or leave it as an Edge (and only usable in Extended contests).

Since it is on the sword itself, if the sword is unavailable, the benefit is as well. So it's not *quite* the same as Hu's Combat Blessing - which modifies the Cultist, not an object.
