I should have added that extra 'Edge' should be given to indicate the difficulty of a specified attack. Probably +2 to defend against a leg attack, or a disarm on a 2-handed weapon, etc. Shields are pretty easy to hit, but the skill in using a shield is to deflect blows, notabsorb them flat-on. Still, no Edge against a shield-breaker, as the attack isn't trying to get past the shield as normal.
