Neither in my games. Personally, I'm very happy with the current, broad, 'Close Combat' ability. I'm not sure if the new approach is better, I have to wait for reading the HQ, but, at first glance, I prefer a single Close Combat ability.

Well, in HW rules there is also a improv. penalty (thought I suspect in HQ is higher). So, I think you are talking about learning new combat abilities, are you?

I mean, Conan has 15W3 with weapon A. He has a -10 (for example) with weapon B, so he has a 5W3 (he doesn't seem to be at a penalty if he fight normal people! but he has a penalty). In HW rules, he has to spend only one or two HP for learning weapon B at 15W3, including it in his Close Combat ability. In HQ, I suppose he have to develop each weapon separately, spending more HP's (althought I would begin the new ability at 5W3, not at 12 because it has not sense that he fight much worse for learning the new weapon).
