The main reason that they're not really interested in supporting Macs or Linux is that they'd have to rewrite the porogram from scratch to do so. It really isn't cost-effective for them because of the relative scarcity of Mac and Linux users relative to Windows. If that situation changes, of course...

However, they are tremendously supportive of their users, interacting regularly with owners of their software, and have been very responsive when problems come up.

I also asked them some time ago, I forget when, and got a no. However, according to their FAQ, they're interest to learn how CC runs under windows emulators in Linux.
