Why should Burn Pagan be any less enigmatic than Sunset Leap? I appreciate that there is a difference between a feat and a spell, but I also firmly believe that Glorantha is there to be renegotiated (or co-created) by each narrator and each gaming group. On the whole, an effort has been made to name wizardly spells in a more clearly defined way, as they are *less* fluid than feats, but it is as important to stress the flexibility involved. I gave you *my* thinking -- that doesnt make it OTW.

As a grognard, you maybe were more able to work out my thoughts, but that doesn't make either of us any more right than someone else who thinks (perfectly reasonably) that an Esvulari knight might well regard a kolating shaman as just as much of a pagan as an ohorlanthi, and that the spell would work perfectly well on either.

It's a difficult thing, I know, to accept that in matters such as this there is no right answer, just the answer that is right for you. To me, though, it's one of the more endeating things about HQ!

All the best

Mark
