And I think that is the point. The Heortlings are Theists. The Praxians are spiritists. The people of the west are sorcerers.

Without concentration anyone could pick up a grimmoire, read it (no mean feat in itself) and start using it. A sorcerer could intitiate to Orlanth and start running up cliffs. Everyone would start buying fetishes off of shamans, not least those who follow shamanic traditions at lay level!

I think the the concentration rules give a clear demarcation and feel *right*. As one of the other posts said, the three otherworld theory seems to be how Greg views Glorantha and therefore is in.

I don't see it as a problem - the opposite in fact, a very, very good thing, but accordingly with YGWV and MGF you can dump them if you want.
