Page 120: "(although improvised feats cannot be cemented, the narrator may allow the hero to learn the feat permanently by traveling to a specific temple to the diety and paying the normal hero Point Cost)"

Basically saying, "There is nothing new under heaven". If your hero can think up a new feat, someone else already did, and you can "learn" it from them. Since we don't have a list of what temples know what feats, the narrator can make this journey as easy or difficult as she likes: "oh, 'Throw Javelin Two Miles'? Yeah, your local Vinga temple knows it. Just pop off across the street..." or "That's only known to the hidden temple of Vinga Dark Troll deep in Dagori Inkarth..."

And, of course, you could always drop in on the God Plane and learn it directly from the God himself...A possible use for all those Holy Day trips to God's Homes.
