No, off the top of my head the improvised feat from an 18W2 Death affinity would be equivalent in lethality to the secret at starting level. Of course getting your affinity from 1W2 to 18W2 is WAY more expensive in HP than getting the secret up from 13 to 1W2. Of course you can do more with the affinity but the question is do you want to? The more - ahem, shall we say focussed - Humakti would be quite happy with just this.

Plus there is the problem that if this is Humakt's secret then there will not be any myths of him using it as part of his death affinity so there is no myth to base the improvisation from. As a general rule I would not allow the improvisation of a power that tried to closely replicate a secret of the same deity for this reason.

If truth be told so do affinities and feats (and spirits and grimoirs for that matter).
