I think that the magic that they use is 'all' Lunar magic in origin. Thus no missaplied worship. IIRC, and with the caveat that relying on a board game is questionable, the Lunar College of magic units in Dragon Pass were all subject to the phases of the moon when the unit was outside of the glowline. Therefore for my game I would be more likely to rule that College magic all comes from Lunar sources.
