Judging from your list, almost all bad, with few good points. But that, of course, is for the way I play, and I'm guessing you play differently. Which is fine, of course, but it might help to clarify which of the points on your list you consider good, and which bad, as that might give a better idea of how to move forward (or backward, as it were). My own, entirely subjective, assessment:

> * Augments de-emphasised, only being an extended contest option.

Very bad. Having augments available in all contests seems to me an essential desideratum.

Bad. Simple contests should be dramatic where appropriate.

Bad. Magic should have equal emphasis in both types of contest.

Neutral. It makes little difference to me precisely what the hero points are spent on.

Good. This leads to more drama and atmosphere than augment-hunting, and helps differentiate contests from one another.

Bad. Introduces too much complexity and too many tactical considerations into the game.

But those are purely my opinions, and won't hold true for all other HQ gamers. How do you - and others - see it?
