I should probably also add (again), that this is entirely true. It's unfortunate for me that I'm not in the audience he was aiming at, but there's no doubt that he did a superb job at appealing to the people he did *was* aiming at.
Plus, while there are very few things that Jeff and I agree on in gaming, I do agree with him that the magic system in the Gloranthan implementation of HQ2 is a Good Thing. So at least there's something we can both be happy about :)
