Isn't there some stuff about sorcerers being able to use spells and grimoires from other sorcerous schools/orders without rulesy penalties (of course, you must get them in the first place, and their former owners and indeed their whole orders may come after you, but you have no more trouble understanding their stuff than new stuff from your own tradition)?
