Ah; one might have a pretty good idea, though, perhaps, depending on one's Relationship to the community, political skills, etc.

Yeah, I agree that's good enough for government work -- and a good deal better than the printed rules. The log(ish)-scaled table means that a few people one way or the other isn't likely to make a huge difference.
