I'm glad you like it! I thought I'd been telling anyone who'd listen about it, though, so I'm somewhat surprised you've escaped until now... Having mentioned it to Greg and David a year (almost exactly) ago, I pretty much gave up on any hope on it being officially adopted, since it does require changing the 'game-scale'.

There's another drawback, though: Chessex don't make giant d12's. (As opposed to their ginormous d20's, and table-crushing d6's.)

To blow my own trumpet a little more, it has the advantage of eliminating the 'Mastery seam' problem entirely, and also if makes the chances of getting crits and fumbles vary somewhat more smoothly.
