Narrator's scorn? Actually, nothing, and as long as they do it IN CHARACTER, that's fine by me. If they like to be a magic-dependant type, good for them. But keep it in character. A Humakti who never draws his sword is highly suspect. An Orlanth Thunderous who chucks lightning bolts all day is a damned good one! And as for feats being more powerful than Divine Magic, I'd deny that! A Lightning bolt would put the target in critical condition (especially if he wore metal armour), a lightning feat will possibly cause a wound...

As to flying all day, I'd insist on a roll to do any notable action, be it travel to a given point, make an attack, dodge missiles, whatever. You could fly all day with one roll, so long as it was a boring, uneventful journey and you did nothing at all during flight.
