On the other hand, your opponents might just start to anticipate your maneuvers and practice against it....

A sort of Know Thy Enemy lore.
"Okay, we know he always does a leaping Shield Feat and charges in after it, getting his shield back jsut before he hits our shieldwall. Here's my plan.... When he throws, we all toss our javelins using the Six Throw Feat and our godi here will use her Fall to Earth feat. Then we charge."
