It sounds like the RQ spell Dullblade, which was forbidden. This implies that it should be in HW, unless there is a really good reason for it. As Death or its copies worked for others just as well as it did for Him, during the GodsWar, I would say there could be a mythic counter-justification, as well.

It sounds like the Humakti is trying to duck his "be willing to die" requirement. If he cannot outperform the non-specialist, by the God, he *should* die, if you ask me.

Calling an opponent's sword from his/her scabbard, OTOH, *would* seem to have justification. After all, the opponent is not using it, and so Humakt might have the right to reassign it, as a squad leader might reassign the squad machine gun. Once the opponent draws it, though (unless he uses it to only, as the haiku had it, cut chestnuts), the opponent is using it as intended, and should have a right to it until he/she is defeated.
