The little information we have on the Household of Death is from KoS. KoS describes the terrible omens shadowin the crowning ceremony of (hmm... the prince whose name I obviously don't remember now)

anyway... the omens include the sun growing pale in the sky, and a flight of ravens droppind dead at the feet of the prince.

The princes two young daughters stepped forth, holding the hands of their young brother, and the children swore oaths to Humakt, taking great geasa and swearing to defend Sartar to the death.

Many were inspired by this, and other children took similar oaths and formed the household of death. I don't think KoS gave the names of the sisters, but the princes young son is called Harlstar.

In my game the household of death took the raven as their symbol, turning the grim omen into a sign from Humakt.

In the offiscial timeline the empire conquered Sartar in 1602, and every member of the Household of Death died defending Boldhome. Harlstar the terrible killed the Red Emperor, but the emperor tricked him breaking a geas which killed him.

I also think that the Raven was a sacred bird to the Humakti of the EWF era Dragon Pass, and the Household of Death has (in my game) awakened some powerful spirits/demigods of the second age.

IMG there's a connection between the spirit of the sword Ravenswing, and the holy Raven Banner of Humakt, that is propably known to those who have played "King of Dragon Pass". The banner is obviously something the Household of Death would dearly want to find again.
