Well, while a pillow isn't the most efficient weapon around, I did mean to imply the difference comes after you hit, therefore AP loss from a sword blow (representing damage) should be higher. Assuming you put the same effort into avoiding the pillow (why? Feather allergy? :), AP loss wouldn't be significantly greater until it hits.

Also, you added 'unarmed combat specialists', which wasn't my intention. A high enough skill in unarmed combat could match or beat a swordsman, but as any individual will have the same skill in both (Close Combat), he should have more effect when hitting with a sword. I intend to introduce house rules for improving CC styles individually to cover this anyway, once I find a rule I'm happy with.
