This I agree with. Were all the playtesters experienced Gloranthan groignards who knew it all beforehand? Or was there just not enough playtesting (not unreasonable, given the ammount of stuff to test)? Reminds me of Tribe8, where the armour rules didn't work, and there were no shield rules at all, because the playtesters didn't use shields or heavy armour.. I think, actually, that there were voices of protest, but they were outvoted - as I said before, not only are we left to our own devices, but DELIBERATELY so.
