But that only tells us how a Thunderstone could be used in RQ3 Mechanics. It didn't tell us what a Thunderstone actually was in Gloranthan terms. A Wolf is more than just the statistics for it in the RQ3 Creatures book.

This would only be true if Dad was a disciple of the one true way... I do recall reading a RQ Adventure once in which the PC's were questing for the holy books of EGG, but it was non-gloranthan ;)

About as silly as a real world Dad being completely unable to answer the question "Daddy, What is God". There is no agreed definition on that either but very few people seem to let that worry them - they just make up their own definition and get on with life!

Maybe not every dad will give the absolutley incontravertable answer to this question, and maybe the world would be a better place for some people if they could, but I think your solution needs to be the same as theirs. Find an answer your comfortable with and, if you feel evangelical, start posting your myths and descriptions!
