Vanganth? I'd assumed not.

Not to throw water (or gasoline) on the thread, this will be explained in great detail in Thunder Rebels.

As a *gross* oversimplification:

You are initiated into a subcult of Orlanth (or Ernalda) from the get-go. Each subcult belongs to an aspect of Orlanth. There are default subcults for the aspects, so that most (Orlanthi "Most", what's that, 45%?) OA worshippers are part of the default subcult of Destor. A Subcult only provides 1 Affinity, The Aspect provides 2, so frex, the Orlanth Adventurous Aspect gives worshippers "Combat" and "Movement" as his affinities. Destor gives the "Wind" affinity. Vanganth has "Flying", Desemborth has "Stealth", etc. When you combine the affinities you get the standard three affinites that cults give (there are 3 aspects and 33 subcults in the Orlanth writeup...). There are wierdnesses that this simplification does *not* cover, so the answer to all questions is "please wait".

Some cults in Storm Tribe will *not* follow this scheme, most will. Worship in other theistic cultures might or might not follow it, I won't comment until I see the MSs...

Pre-existing characters *will* be able to retro-fit into this scheme with a minimum of pain. (That doesn't mean "no pain", that means "as little as we can help").
