There's also the point that, if you go with the 'automatic' augments, these represent 'normal' use of an ability, while anything in excess of 1/10 points represents extra effort. Swordwork has more to do with speed than strength, but when you put extra muscle into it, you can see the difference to a normal stroke by the same person.

So with Strong 2W2, I can get a +8 edge (4 levels) with no effort, but I could try for +12 with a 10W resistance with noticeable effort - an action.
