Here's one I thought up when I was in a bad mood... Only allow minor healing to affect 'fresh' wounds. As a Grievous counts as "... hurt in a separate contest", it doesn't count as fresh & needs more advanced healing. Just a thought for those who like heroes to limp a bit.
