Provided he is such a natural otherworld quester, the answer is not: the ordinary way to support a HQ for a disciple is by partecipating and maybe "pulling" a little from the other side people trying to cross with him, rather than "pushing".
Maybe he is more able to weak the barrier than to support the other questers (providing an handicap for the barrier resistance??) I'm going blind, here, I warn you...
