This implies that The Eternal Battle spans the god-plane and spirit-plane
(I have no problem with this - Chaos is ripping the universe apart). It
occurs to me that this split explains the Urox/Storm Bull separation.
Somehow part of the original entity is trapped either side of the divide
after/outside the battle (maybe The Devil did cut him in two!). Storm Bull
and Urox worship therefore has shared mythology (and a single locus to gain
magic from). Unlike most rival religions the secret myths of each group
overlap and acknowledge each other, so Urox and Storm Bull worhsippers can
get along without treading on eachothers toes (spiritually). Arguments and
fights are no problem because well ... thats what Uroxi and Storm Bulls do.
(BTW my problem with the (prior) separate entities idea is twofold. One it
makes a mockery of the misapplied worhip rules (they don't apply to Gods
with an 'R' in the name?). Two why should two similar but distinct
religions get on? In most cases similar religions are more bitter rivals
than separate ones. In Glorantha, this is compunded by Shamans and Priests
being able to check the credentials of any foreign religions - "Nope,
they're worshipping a spirit. Kill 'em.").
Oh yes, Kigor Lytor is a special case. I'm pretty sure that she was around before (under? outside?) the god-plane, scorcey-plane and spirit-plane existed.
